At the BID, we have worked with Staffordshire University to create a brand new category; the High Street Impact Award, which is for:
-
Business that can demonstrate a significant positive impact in making their city centre or local high street more vibrant, welcoming or sustainable.
-
Initiatives to create high street jobs, attract local residents and visitors, revitalise the public realm, or help with profile raising.
-
Impactful measures which have helped high streets to become clean, green, mixed-used spaces.
Whilst this category is open for anyone in the region to apply for, we're actively supporting businesses within the City Centre to apply for this category, providing FREE and exclusive workshops and application 1-2-1s.
So what, right?
As a city centre, we're a humble bunch that pack a punch.
We're constantly being told that we don't matter.
That we're not good enough.
Let's show the region that we mean business.
The awards spotlight businesses that apply, and have proven continual success and awareness to those lucky enough to be shortlisted or win. It's free marketing, which in today's sociocultural landscape is something that all of us can appreciate.
With that in mind, there's just under one month left to get your story told with an application to the awards, so we're upping the ante with free sessions to book onto.
These workshops will be informal, interactive and the perfect chance to step away from your business for to look at your marketing storytelling. There is a face to face version of each workshop (2 hours) or an online Zoom version (1 hour) which will be recorded for those of you who want to watch in their own time.
