Our first priority is Place Management which focuses on projects to deliver a safer, more welcoming environment for visitors, residents and businesses alike. Our three fully-trained Street Ambassadors are our ‘eyes and ears’ on the street, identifying and resolving street management issues, providing support for BID businesses and being a friendly face for everyone in the City Centre, on-hand to answer your questions, give directions and even provide restaurant recommendations!
We work alongside bodies such as the Business Crime Reduction Partnership and the police, attending weekly retail and nightlife security briefings and giving support to premises when dealing with offending behaviours in a bid to reduce antisocial behaviours.
We’re also actively improving the look and feel of the City Centre by working with local artists and creatives on street art and gardening projects, whilst reducing graffiti and littering in the area.
