Meet the BID Team
Richard Buxton - Chief Executive Officer
Richard is the CEO for the Stoke-on-Trent City Centre BID which means overseeing the budget and its expenditure within the district through events, initiatives and investments and delivering the BID's strategy over the five-year team.
Sarah Thomas-Gordon - Marketing Manager
Sarah is responsible for the BID marketing and communications strategy. Her duties align with Stoke-on-Trent City Centre BID's core objectives, supporting projects and services with positive promotional place marketing and stakeholder engagement.
April Jackson - Ambassadorial Services Manager
April is responsible for the Ambassadorial team and the eyes and ears of the BID. She records issues affecting organisations within the BID area, ensuring that the city operates effectively for both businesses and their customers.
Charlotte Perry - Marketing Officer
Joining the BID from the Staffordshire University Accellerator Graduate scheme initially, Charlotte now supports with content for BID social media and website, along with events and activities promotion.
City Centre Ambassadors
A team of three on-the-ground Street Ambassadors, recruited to give local businesses a voice and make sure visitors to the city have the best possible experience during their stay. The Ambassadors record issues affecting organisations within the BID area ensuring that the city operates effectively for both businesses and their customers, with their own dedicated areas of expertise. The uniformed team are also on hand to provide a warm welcome and helpful information for people visiting the City Centre. Each Ambassador possesses a wealth of knowledge about the City Centre, and has extensive customer-facing experience.
