Julie calls herself a little alternative and loves to do things differently. So when she brought her much loved bridal boutique from Burslem to Piccadilly in Hanley, she knew she would fit right in. Located among lovely coffee shops, eateries, bars and near to The Potteries Centre, ‘I Do’ Bride creates an inviting atmosphere where friends and brides can explore designer dresses as part of a special day out.

I Do Bridal provides new and ex sample designer gowns to create a boutique full of  stunning one off designs to suit all shapes, sizes and styles. Better still, Julie is dedicated to providing inclusive and welcoming experiences, especially for those who are feeling out of their depth or unsure of the whole ‘saying yes to the dress’ pressure!

Julie also has another gift up her sleeve and that’s catering for those who don’t necessarily want to say ‘I do’ in a traditional white frock. Julie is more than happy to help you explore ways to adapt dresses to suit a bride’s very own style. Imagine  cutting the hem length or adding colour to match your Doc Martins? Because her  dresses are so affordable, brides can use some of their budget to be truly unique.

In addition to creating special experiences, Julie is also striving to reduce her  environmental impact. Working closely with her seamstress service, they specialise  in up-cycling & reviving old dresses or heirloom and vintage dresses that need to be brought into new use. They can work their magic to create a truly one of a kind  masterpieces. This is in addition to buying dresses from other businesses so that they don’t go to waste.

Julie believes that every bride to be should be able to feel a million dollars without  breaking the bank or compromising on style. Her approach means that kids, guide dogs and breastfeeding mums can all come along to fittings (she even has a toy  corner!) and those who feel shy can enjoy a completely private setting upstairs to  provide a trying on experience that feels relaxed and with a coffee. Julie also  believes that love is love and everyone deserves to feel celebrated on their special  day so ‘I Do’ Bridal is LBGTQ+ welcoming too.
