Strategic Liaison Officer
As Strategic Liaison Officer you will facilitate sector engagement with statutory bodies, managing the strategic interface between the VCSE sector, health and local authorities and other relevant parties. You will also be responsible for supporting the partnerships and collaborations with statutory bodies to enable co-production of services and relevant commissioning from the local VCSE sector.
A large part of this role is engaging with teams within and outside of VAST, so strong communication skills and a deep knowledge of the voluntary sector are essential.
- Salary Scale: £30,000-£35,000
- Hours of work: 37 hours per week
Benefits: 5% Pension Contribution, 22 days annual holiday + 3 concessionary days & bank holidays - Responsible to: Strategic Projects Manager

Communications and Engagement Coordinator – Strategic Comms
As part of the expansion of our Strategic Team, we are recruiting a Communications and Engagement Coordinator – Strategic Comms.
Working as part of the Communications and Engagement Team at VAST, this role will support the Strategic Liaison Officer, and the wider VAST and Support Staffordshire Management Teams in the delivery of the VCSE Healthy Communities Alliance by keeping Alliance members informed and engaged whilst promoting and growing the membership of the Alliance.
The role includes working with Strategic Leads, Elected VCSE Sector Representatives and Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care System colleagues to share relevant content supporting VCSE Healthy Communities Alliance members to keep abreast of health and care agendas.
- Title of Post: Communications and Engagement Coordinator – Strategic Comms
- Salary Scale: £24,000 – £26,000 FTE
- Hours of work: 30 hours per week
- Benefits: 5% Pension Contribution, 22 days annual holiday + 3 concessionary days & bank holidays (pro rata for part time)
- Responsible to: Communications and Content Manager
- Special Conditions: Occasional evening work and ability to travel
