Many of our BID businesses will be members of PABCIS, our long standing, award winning countywide business crime reduction partnership.  PABCIS works in partnership with many agencies including Staffordshire Police but it remains an independent non profit making organisation which is business led with a structured Board of Management and Directors.

Stoke on Trent City Centre BID has been closely aligned with PABCIS in recent times to ensure as many businesses as possible in our BID levy area can participate in our efforts to ensure Hanley is a safe and secure environment for all of those who work, visit, live and invest here and that those efforts feed into the wider business crime reduction strategies of PABCIS and its partners.

It is hoped that the  close working relationship with PABCIS and the BID will continue and grow and with this in mind we are delighted to announce that Richard Buxton, CEO of the BID has been invited to sit on the Board of DIrectors of PABCIS to further cement the BID engagement and continued delivery of PABCIS.

Julie Davies, OBE on behalf of PABCIS said "we welcome RIchard onto the Board of Directors.  His appointment is one where we are sure he will represent the interests of businesses and PABCIS in the coming months and years.  He will be part of a changing Board and we look forward to working with him further"

Richard Buxton said “Whilst this is a great honour for me personally, more importantly, it gives our City Centre a voice in the leading business crime partnership in the country. I encourage every business to join PABCIS!”

All City Centre businesses should contact Paul Greenhough at Paul.Greenhough@staffordshire.police.uk to become members.
