Ruff & Ruby, established in 2010, is more than just a charity; they are an urban movement of generation shapers and exist to be game-changers, legacy-leavers, innovators and hustlers of culture.

An award winning faith-based youth charity, Ruff & Ruby engage, energise and empower young people to realise their value, reach their potential and re-frame their world by promoting positive self esteem and aspirations through innovative programs and services including topic-based workshops and roadshows, 1:1 solution focused life coaching and mentoring, VIP ‘life lift’ experiences and bedroom re-vamps to tackle poverty and their Ruff & Ruby Community Hub / Social Enterprise located within The Potteries Centre.

The Ruff & Ruby Rooms, an award-winning community hub is a dynamic community space and the base for the charity staff. It’s intention is to provide a retail experience ‘with meaning’ and to infuse a ‘sense of belonging’ and ‘home’. They are open for the general public to access for: Shopping pre-loved clothing and footwear; socialising in their 'chill areas' including table tennis and pool tables, in the cafe area where you can grab a cake and coffee, and in the KIDOVATION play area for kids up to 7 years; donating; and relaxing.

You'll also find there a ‘SKILL UP’ textile and art workbench (with the use of sewing machines for just £2.50 p/h), a free to play piano, hair / nail beauty treatments (in collaboration with Stoke College, student practitioners),a creative arts and live performance staging area and a RE:STORE bespoke furniture upcycling and workshop space.
